I don't think I can put into words how excited I was to see that Simon Vance was narrating this series. He did such amazing work on Brent Weeks "The Lightbringer" series ( I listened to that series 5 times). There is no better combination of Author and Narrator on the planet. Can't wait to get started on this trilogy!

I put off reading this because I didn't enjoy any of the previous narrators. I love the Lightbringer, easily my favorite series, and Simon Vance was one of the best narrators I've ever heard. When I noticed Simon Vance did the Night Angel, I was beyond ecstatic. Brent Weeks is such a good author, his writing style is excellent. I really feel like I can put myself in the characters head and experience the story to its fullest. Both a good and bad thing where this book is concerned. Much darker than what I usually read. Overall, fantastic; if you're like me, you'll spend a majority of the time as confused as the protagonist, but for the clever, follow the breadcrumbs left throughout the story and it all makes sense. TL;DR Amazing book, amazing author, amazing narrator.
