Guillermo del Toro is one of the most creative and visionary artists of his generation whose distinctive style is showcased through his work as a filmmaker, screenwriter, producer and author. Del Toro first gained worldwide recognition for the 1993 Mexican-American co-production, Cronos. In 2004, del Toro directed and co-wrote the action-adventure sci-fi thriller 'Hellboy'. In 2013, del Toro wrote and directed the epic sci-fi action-adventure 'Pacific Rim', which has grossed over $400 million worldwide.
Joe trained at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. He has worked regularly at Shakespeare’s Globe, the Sam Wanamaker Playhouse, Southwark Playhouse, the Bristol Old Vic and the Ustinov in Bath. Joe’s work includes The Hot Kid and The Shootist (both for BBC Radio 4), the film adaptation of Great Expectations and several audiobook recordings, including the Spellslinger series by Sebastien de Castell and James Craig's Inspector Carlyle stories.
