Always Kind of Love

Penelope and Ethan hurt each other emotionally several times in this book. There was a lot of resentment about their breakup even though in my opinion Ethan was immature. He didn’t want to compromise and support what she wanted. He just wanted her to give up her dreams and stay in town with him. Penelope might not have come back if something hadn’t happened to her. When she told Ethan what happened and after the incident in the book I thought she should seek professional help to deal with her struggles now. Their second chance at love is rocky filled with miscommunications and misunderstandings.

This is book four in A McCord Family Series and it is Ethan and Penelope's story and it is definitely a must read. Ethan and Penelope were high school sweethearts and were supposed to be together forever but things ended badly. Years later and Penelope has moved back home and when Ethan and Penelope meet again the chemistry between them is still as strong and intense as ever but they are both different people and there is still so much tension and hurt between them that you begin to wonder if they will ever be able to get over everything that they have both been through and communicate with each other but only time will tell what the outcome will be for them and if they ever stand a second chance of a happy ending as they are so perfect for each other. I absolutely loved this book and I couldn't put it down as the characters and storyline pulled you in and kept your attention throughout the whole book and I can't wait to read the next book in this amazing series. Amanda Siegrist is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to pull on your heart strings and keep you on the edge of your seat and I definitely recommend you read her book's and you will definitely not be disappointed. The fourth book in the A McCord Family Novel series a well written short second chance story. Ethan McCord and Penelope Justice parted ways nine years ago when she went off to college and never returned. When they first meet this time they do not get off to a very good start. I enjoyed seeing them get their happy ending even with the arsonist in the town. I want to read the next book. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
