Tina Thomas has a stalker. She and Owen broke up because of his insecurities and the stalker is using that against them. The detective had a jealous streak. It was what had broken them up in the first place. Owen only wanted things his way, and if he didn’t get his way, he threw a tantrum. Owen is a police detective investigating a murder case. Owen and Tina's second chance romance was full of drama and suspense. I took a while to warm to Owen as I found his character very 'black and white' and was annoyed by his initial lack of trust and empathy towards Tina. However, their burgeoning relationship contrasted with the disturbing unravelling of the serial killer/stalker made for a very engaging and exciting read. Owen, detective, separated from Tina 2 years ago after she had not been fully open and honest. Honesty is important and Tina knows she was at fault. She reconnects by offering her baked goods as as thank you for helping with her brother Miles's disappearance. She must be fully thruthful now in order to keep their relationship..she has a stalker and Owen naturally is dismayed. Secrets and lies have a habit of creating not solving problems and danger.
