Corey and Genevieve come together over baby Amelie. He becomes a single dad when the baby is dropped off at the bar. She feels she needs to make amends for not being there for her friend. The two clash at their first meeting but soon realize the misconceptions about each other, despite what family and friends say. The characters are terrific, with past triumphs and needing to conquer more aspects of their lives in the future. The storyline builds up a great romantic drama, with surprises, heartache, forgiveness, building trust and much more. Loved the way the author had the couple grow in so many ways, caring deeply as well as looking out for what was best for the baby. The ending fit perfectly. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Genevieve and Corey didn’t have the best beginning to their romance. But she did try to take Amelie, thinking she knew what was best for her and feeling guilty she wasn’t there for her mother. Corey is a redemption-like hero with a dark past that he has overcome and continues to fight to be on the straight and narrow for his daughter who he lives for. Genevieve and Corey form a truce since she helps him out in so many ways, but they have their share of issues with misunderstandings, miscommunications, and several arguments. This is not a sweet romance, but it has it’s sweet moments in the way they care for and help each other and Amelie.

This is book four in A Perfect For You Series and it is Corey and Genevieve's story. Corey owns a bar and has come a long way from his bad life choices of addictions but now clean and has made a better life for himself but then he is shocked to find a baby on his doorstep saying that he is the father and Corey is determined to give his daughter Amelie all the love and care that Corey never received in his life. Genevieve is determined to be part of Amelie's life but first impression of Corey didn't sit well with her and after making a big mistake she is determined to make things right in any way that she can but it will not be easy. Things don't go very smoothly for Cory and Genevieve and they will have to build a lot of trust in each other before they can go forward to see if they have a chance of becoming a family. I loved this book and had to keep turning the pages to see what would happen next and I couldn't put it down as it was so well written and definitely worth reading.
