4.5 Stars for The Right Time ( Perfect for You #2) If you love friends to lovers stories look no further than this emotional, entertaining read. Mia Carter and Jaxson Brandt’s story captivated and drew me in from the first chapter to the last line, I fell hook, line and sinker for this couple and I really wanted more. I swooned over Jaxson and I was totally invested in Mia and the mess she finds herself in because she is consumed with her past, I loved how Jaxson was determined to prove he would support her through whatever live threw at her because he loved her with every piece of his heart. This story touched me on so many levels, a heroine struggling to get over her past and honestly my heart broke for her as I learned what she had gone through and I found myself cheering our hero on because it was pretty obvious this man loved unconditionally and he knew what he wanted and that was Mia. This book has the perfect mix of love, humour and angst and I’m sure like me you will be happy to join this emotional roller coaster of a journey. Emotional, entertaining read that I highly recommend to all romance lovers.

I enjoyed the first book so I knew I needed to read this one. We got to know Mia and Jaxon in the first book. Jaxson is going to make you swoon. I'd like to find myself a Jaxson. There are plenty of times when he could have moved on, but what makes him awesome is he fights for Mia. Mia could use that in her life. Her past still weighs on her and thinks she doesn't deserve the happiness that Jaxson has to offer. This is a heartfelt story that will make your heart happy sigh. The party Mia and Jaxson plan I would so love that party. I'm a huge fan myself so I would be giddy with what they planned.

Jaxson and Mia have been dancing around their romantic feelings for each other but it’s hard when she keeps pushing him away until he decides to take a risk. It felt like Mia really should talk a professional about things because her childhood was pretty messed up and it’s still affecting her adult life. I felt for Jaxon who was trying to be patient, but they also jump to conclusions when their isn’t a repeat of feelings or they don’t hear from each other.
