First of all, Xanders adorable daughter is just the best!! She is such an assertive child but made me laugh quite a bit when her responses made me think of what she’s be like as a teen. Xander and Kate had an unusual start to their relationship, but by the end of the book it really seemed almost like fate for her to be part of their little family. . I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Ann Omasta wove an intense story full of twists and turns that keep you on the edge of your seat! She's outdone herself with Xander, Kate and Zoey's story! The characters were strong and good together. Their chemistry sizzled and sparked. The storyline was suspenseful and intriguing with a sweet ending! Must read!

wish it was longer. Mind, it's not missing a single thing, it's just that the writing is so easy to read that I could easily have read another hour without getting bored. Despite my cooperation with the willing suspension of disbelief rule for fiction, I am surprised that her airlines did not require her immediate presence to report the incident and that he was free to leave when the plane touched down. Makes me wonder who was around to take over the clearing of the airfield and restoration of normal traffic after clearing. It also begs the question of how he got to the landing strip so quickly if he had originally needed to turn her over to IND at for the actual landing. Sorry, my brain likes everything neatly wrapped up.

10. Did I mention that I hate whipped cream? It makes my stomach churn to look at it, touch it, smell it, or even think about it. Great––now I'm thinking about it. Ick!
