This is only the second book by this author that I have read, and I was just as enchanted this second time around. This story centers around Sienna Fairchild and Monty Bettencourt. Sienna , a woman from a wealthy family, is about to get married when she realizes she doesn’t even truly know the groom, is not in love with him and only agreed to the marriage to please her father. So she runs out of the yacht club. When she sees a boat called Nana’s Dream, she considers it a sign and quickly hides there. Monty, owner of a charter boating business and new owner of Nana’s Dream is surprised to find his stowaway, but realizing she wishes to escape those searching for her, helps her out. Neither realizing that her escapade and him helping her, would change their lives forever. But the road to happiness is filled with twists and turns for these two seemingly different individuals. It was a delightful story about finding oneself, finding love, family dynamics, the strength and power of a village and new beginnings. The only downside is that not having read the previous stories in the series, I was at times at a disadvantage when those characters showed up in the story. As a new reader, I did not know their background. I was entrusted a copy of this book. The opinions expressed are solely my own.

Sienna finally decides enough is enough and she needs to work out where to from here in life, it's just a bit unfortunate she decides this just before her wedding! I love how carefree Monty is and hiding a runaway bride is like water off a ducks back and no bother to him but all that will change not just for him but also Sienna as they sail to Butterfly Habor. There are some great laughs, a growing romance, a cheeky parrot, meddling family and people who you thought you could trust and new friends you didn't know you needed until they are in your life, all this and more makes this and absolutely fantastic read!

Can I just say that with every Butterfly Harbor book I read, I want to live there more and more? If this place existed, I'd be on the road there now! Given that it's in California and I grew up there, I most definitely know approximately where it would be! The town sounds so much like the town I grew up in and the characters are all amazing! Monty has been a favorite of mine since I first met him and I'm so glad he finally got his own story! While he's in San Diego buying an old boat to restore and add to his "fleet" of boats for his business, a woman (Sierra Fairchild) decides to jump aboard and hide on said boat and runaway from her wedding! Monty discovers her before he leaves and keeps her secret as her fiance and father search the marina for her. He has a feeling there is a good reason she is a runaway bride! As Sierra bargains with Monty to "take her with him" to Butterfly Harbor while she sorts things out, they begin an adventure that will change both of their lives! I loved this book from beginning to end! Boat troubles, a meddling & annoying parrot, threats of kidnapping and even Monty's sister's upcoming wedding fiascos all keep things entertaining! I wish the Butterfly Harbor books would never end!
