About this ebook

My Mis-take is an effort to inform the world about Mahsa Amini. This short poem is for her. It is all about how she suffered just because some people have different beliefs and they don’t want to accept others.

Mahsa was just a 22 years old teen. She didn’t deserve the treatment she got from the police itself. Mahsa is a victim of radical thoughts and practices and people who think that their beliefs are more than anyone’s life. This poem is an effort to show her feelings in the form of words. She was sacrificed in the name of radical beliefs. This poem is about her pain, her loss and her life.

This poem is a statement that yes you can have your beliefs but your beliefs, your thoughts and your opinions are not greater than anyone's life. It doesn't matter which idea you follow but it cannot be the justified reason to hurt anyone.
