Metaverse is the next internet iteration with a decentralized network of virtual spaces where users can socialize, learn, and play. Leveraging other emerging technologies (5G, blockchain, artificial intelligence), and moving from 2D graphics on flat screens to 3D graphics on HMD, Metaverse will enable the creation of interactive and virtual equivalents of the physical world we will be able to explore via its extended reality platform.

As for our novel, "Journey along the Metaverse Silk Road," we have done our best to become a thirsty publication for readers interested in reading science fiction novels. This Metaverse Journey gives an experience of the virtual journey along the Silk Road from the Great Wall to Istanbul.

About the author

Ariesto Hadi Sutopo is an author of more than thirty publications. Ariesto writes primarily multimedia and science fiction about the metaverse adventure and heroism of the everyday person. Publishing in a breadth of genres, Ariesto dives into the hearts and souls of his characters, meshing her love of research with his love of art, education, and technology. Many artworks in the art are available on the NFT marketplace, especially OpenSea.

Hadi Sutopo attended the Educational Technology Doctorate of Jakarta State University and Master and Bachelor of Computer Science in Indonesia. He has a good talent for art and painting artist. This can all be confusing, so his professional artist causes people to call him Ariesto.

As a computer engineer, he is a senior member of the International Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) and the International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT). He is also an Association of Computing Machinery (ACM) member. In addition, he serves the Indonesian Bible Society (LAI) as a member of the Technology Commission.
