Charlotte seems to be adapting well to her new veterinary apprenticeship Handling the phoenixes seems pretty exciting, with mating, egg fertilization, and hatching on the horizon her relationship with her friend seems a bit fraught with romantic overtones- and not more than that- for now at least the Sanctuary, the inhabitants and keepers, students and visitors- a fascinating bunch! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Another great book that introduces us to even more of the magical creatures at the sanctuary. I love all the different types of magical creatures and how well introducing them blends with the story.

I like that Charlotte is one of those that don't get along well with others. She has a charm all her own. Shy in a way but wanting to learn all she can too. I felt bad for the Phoenix when the hen attached him and when he had to leave. I hope he does well in the other place. I enjoyed this one very much.
