This fourth Mountain Bears book brings us Rocky and Autumn and is a bit more dramatic than its predecessors. Autumn has plenty of secrets, and I have to say that Rocky was more patient than I would've been. She's slow to trust, which was to be expected given everything she's been through. However, that didn't stop me from wanting to shake her until her teeth rattled when she repeatedly put herself in danger. In addition to some edge of your seat action and drama, Fanning gives us another steamy, fated mates romance plus a ready-made family for Rocky as he gets not only his mate but her younger brother as well. I didn't feel quite the same level of romance in this one, but the excitement sure kept me on my toes. Another great addition to the series.

This is a fantastic bear shifter romance & I really enjoyed reading it. The characters are well-developed and interesting with distinctive, individual personalities and have attributes of loyalty & determination when faced with certain situations. The plot is entertaining, well-thought out & written. There is: a bear shifter (Rocky) is celebrating a hard-won victory when he comes into contact with young woman (Autumn), her younger brother (Brody), a manipulative crime boss (Vincent), a organization (ZPO), bear shifters, jaguar shifters, humans, cartel/mafia, drugs, secrets, mystery, fated mates, twists & turns, threats, blackmail, danger, enemies, violence, conflict, frustration, warnings, verbal conflict, compromises, misunderstandings, discovery, manipulations, confrontations, physical conflict, happiness, love, some steam & a satisfying conclusion.

I enjoyed reading this book , It is filled with action, intrigue and is entertaining, the interaction and chemistry between Autumn and Rocky is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received a FREE ARC copy of this book to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
