The Devil's Wanton Wallflower: A spicy regency romance novella

Desire conquers every obstacle! Devil knew he wanted her before he realized Beth was exactly what he needed. I adored his devotion to her, protecting her, even before he understood what it meant. When he sees her left vulnerable, he takes her to prove that King and his crew weren't watching her closely enough but soon has to admit, to himself at least, that there's far more to his attraction to her than just protection. I loved Beth's determination to grab her freedom however she could. She wasn't going to let a ruinous scandal get in the way of pursuing her happiness. When she's thrust into Devil's world, she makes the most of it. Their connection was beautifully portrayed, with a relatively short journey to their HEA. I felt the conflict was a bit too overdrawn, making more of the threat and sacrifice than was realistically necessary. Other than that, though, this was a delightful story, deliciously dirty and altogether heartwarming. I'm looking forward to reading the next book in this wonderful series.
