Mirdza is on her way to visit her friend and beg for help. She has been short on her luck lately and it doesn’t seem like its about to change. Should she really step in, help or just keep to herself? When she sees the wrong doings on the train she steps in; getting beaten and tossed out of a moving train is more than just bad luck. Will her luck change? Thank you Bridget for proving to us that #2 in the series does not have to be worth less than the first but can actually be even better than #1.

Great book, this book builds on the story, action and romance from the first book (can read this book without reading the first) making it a book that's hard to put down. love the originality of this series and can't wait to jump straight into the third book

Fantastic read! Cannot wait for the next book in the series. I encourage you to read this book as Mirdza tries to figure out good vs. evil and what she can live with when she discovers that sometimes the line isn’t that clear.
