The book started off very well. The plot was built very gradually and the rate at which it escalated kept me engrossed. The different elements and characters in the story were very beautifully connected to each other and the protagonist. I especially loved how every character introduced in the story played a role in some little way in the protagonist's journey. I felt that the villain side of the story could have had more build up and seemed to fall slightly flat in comparison to the rest of the characters. Even then the climax of the story was both satisfying and poignant. Towards the end, it felt a little dragged maybe because of the powerful climax. Overall I loved the story. I love the underlying theme it conveys and the way it packages the good and bad together. Warning though, there are some very triggering topics mentioned here so please be wary of them. Otherwise it is a beautifully written work and I am looking forward to the next books.

Her adventures are filled with suspense at a high level, as she faces adamant outsiders and a very dangerous Teuton co-conspirator possessing Teutonic gifts far beyond her own. But, surprising developments turn the tables and bring Teutonic and outsider justice.

Reality with Magic & Edge This is a journey of discovery and love that we all need. Before I go on. I love this book. It's got twists & turns and mentions PTSD, night terrors, panic attacks, depression, even some agoraphobia are some of the things that plague our heroine, Zehra. I deal with these myself yet I found this book comforting. She's been to the darkest depths and experienced things no one her age, or anyone should ever have to. I think Zehra & Henning are extremely relatable. Zehra can't give in to the pull she feels for her Keyholder mate until she has justice! Her search for justice is refreshing and well warranted! There's heartache but there's also so much love in this book. I love this book immensely! It gives you all the feels! It's not an easy journey but the journey is worth every minute. There's action, magic which you will love seeing Zehra learn to use! There's suspense of course. Although the ultimate journey is one we all face everyday. Are we worthy of love?
