About this eBook

As his career path led him into more and more danger, Calum made a decision to keep his family safe, even if it meant he would be alone in the world. But when his wife and son are kidnapped and dumped almost into his very own secret headquarters, Calum knows his safeguards haven’t been enough.

Mariana didn’t like Calum’s decision from years ago but finally understood after her and her son are rescued from kidnappers, and she saw the dangerous level of his work. However, having him once again in her life, their family whole again, she’s not willing to let him go. Not this time. If the danger would continue, … surely they were safer at his side.

Calum’s abilities at an all-time low, his friends and fellow teammates injured and struggling, Calum knows he must be there for the team. Yet protecting his family comes first. But, if they don’t get to the bottom of the chaos that’s his current life, … no one is safe.

This whole team was attacked. There psychic gifts impaired. They are still recovering. Trying to figure out who targeted them. Callum stayed away from his family to protect them but it didn’t do any good. “But the relationships we have all found are extremely intense and bonded in a way. As in fated.” Mariana and there son where kidnapped. She has her own abilities and will not be left behind again. Action packed intense adventure.

I was excited to read Calum's Contact, although I had not read the other books in this series. This can be read as a stand-alone novel. As such, the author supplied enough background so the reader can immerse fully into the story. While that information was pertinent for the reading enjoyment of Calum's Contact, I found the conversations between the characters were overdone. There was too much repetitive information. For instance, as the characters pursued all possible outcomes, everything but the kitchen sink was discussed, ad nauseum. While I liked the book, it didn't "Wow" me. 3 1/2 stars

A 3.5 stars read. Another quick read and in this one I love the family connection. It still has that paranormal suspense vibe and there's a bit action although I wished there's more still got me on the edge of my seat. Still enjoyed it and still an entertaining read for me. It's Calum's story and it started from the previous book with the kidnapping of his wife and son, so this book is the hunt of who's responsible for that and if it's connected to the first attack. So yeah it's pretty much the same with the hunting of who's responsible and the plot with the previous books, but in this one there's added mystery with personal touch in Calum's past that added the anticipation and excitement although I felt a bit rushed at the end. Aside from that what I love the most in this book is the family connection between Calum and his wife Mariana and his son Little Calum, it's just so sweet and super adorable and on a whole another level with those energy works and paranormal stuff. A fast-paced paranormal suspense romance with adorable loveable characters, yups you should try this series.
