Dare to Take

Tyler is no hero, he behaved like a jerk. Question was, if they had not been forced to be together by circumstances, would he have apologized for what he did to ella. Nevertheless, he stepped up when ella got into trouble. He was concerned enough to have to force her to stay with him to keep her safe until her stalker was neutralized. They both had a lot of emotional baggages that they needed to overcome separately and together. People spent too much time wallowing in their hurt pride and their personal issues when rifts could be healed a lot sooner and relationships repaired if only for closure before it is too late and somebody is dying.

Good read.. but just another story where a young female gets hurt and of course the female forgives.. if the guy really had feelings for her.. why wait so long to apologize.. would he ever have made the apology had the circumstances not come together? Come on the guy was a jerk..

Tyler Dare and Ella Shaw have history. Back when Ella, best friend of Tyler's younger sister, acted on her longtime feelings for him, it did not end well. But the years have done nothing to dim the desire that flares between the two of them whenever they're around each other, and Tyler is determined to make amends for the pain he caused Ella, and try for a second chance. DARE TO TAKE is the sixth, and, alas, the last of the books in the Dare To Love series by author Carly Phillips. That being said, Carly has given us a book filled with all of the usual hot, sexy, feel-good, and romantic elements that are her signature, and that we love. Tyler and Ella have both suffered betrayal at the hands of the people that should be their safety nets, and it has done a lot to form the way that they see relationships. But both are determined to move forward, and follow the passion that they share. It doesn't take long before passion and friendship turn into something much deeper, and, in typical Carly fashion, love triumphs over pain, and healing and growth flourish. I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know the Dares. Each of the siblings and half-siblings bring their own complex personalities to the table, and their stories are engaging, original, and satisfying. I was glad to see Ella and Tyler get their turn, and, while I will be sorry to see the end of this series, I look forward to what Carly will bring to readers in future. 4.5 intrigue-filled, passionate, second-chance stars for DARE TO TAKE, a wonderful end to a beloved series.
