I totally loved reading Rock Me, the first book in Carly Phillips new Bodyguard Bad Boys series. This is a second chance story between bodyguard Ben Hollander and pop star Summer Michelle. Summer’s stardom is poised on the brink as she competes to be the opening act for a rock star. Threats have been made against the two competitors and Ben is assigned to be the bodyguard for Summer and to keep her from danger. Part of this assignment is a déjà vu situation since Ben lost a previous bodyguard position after getting involved with Summer when she was on televised competition. However, this time around it is so much more difficult for Ben to keep his hands off of her. Despite being a few years later, these two continue to have off the chart chemistry. These two need figure out how to continue their relationship if Summer wins the competition and Ben is no longer her bodyguard. Ms. Phillips is a wonderful storyteller which she demonstrated in this story. I really enjoyed reading this book and had trouble putting it down. This is a great book with plenty of sex, romance and suspense. I highly recommend this book to other readers and am looking forward to the next book in this series, Tempt Me. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

I was so excited to start a new series by Carly Phillips. Rock Me is the newest book coming out in the Bachelor Bad Boys books. I am a huge Carly fan and I was loving hard on Ben. He is my new favorite bodyguard and I wanted more when the book ended. Ben is everything I love. Alpha...Check, Dominating....Check, Kick ass with all the glory of muscles...check, and my favorite SEXY AS SIN....Check Check Check!!!! He is a bit damaged and guards his heart with steel walls. Fate brought him face to face to the woman he sworn he was over and done with from the past. Before Summer's POV came in, I was not liking her so much. I thought that she had crushed Ben just to get ahead in the singing industry. Then she came in and stunned me. She was really sweet. She is brave and not afraid to be upfront, especially with Ben. She was a match made for Ben and even though he was burned in the past, he started to embrace the future. These two made a lot of chemistry happen behind closed doors that were too HOT to go into detail in this review. You will get all the feels and swoon as much as I did. I love Rock Me. Carly did a great job with the story. I am excited to continue on with this series as there was a lot more yummy bodyguards that need attention ;)

Rock Me is the first book in the new Bodyguard Bad Boys from Carly Phillips. I was once again pulled into the story from the very first page and devoured this book. I adore a second chance romance, and Rock Me was done so very well. I loved Summer Michelle from the moment we met her and broody and sexy Ben Hollander made me swoon a bit from the very beginning. Seriously loved they had a past and Ben was hired to be Summer's bodyguard. I felt instant chemistry between these two characters and couldn't wait for them to act upon their mutual attraction. While Ben was hired to keep Summer safe, and there were elements of suspense around who was behind the threats on Summer, I felt like this story was really more of a straight up romance. I had a pretty good idea early on who was behind everything, just not why. However, I loved how being back together brought Summer and Ben together as a couple really quickly. They just worked so well as a couple for me. I loved they really were friends as well as lovers and began to confide in each other about family issues and both wanted to help the other out with said family issues. The sex scenes between Ben and Summer were smoking hot! I loved that Summer had no problems going after what she wanted when it came to Ben and he was powerless to resist his attraction for long. I also loved the fun and tender scenes between them. I feel like I'm gushing about them as a couple, but they just gave me all the feels and I loved seeing two such strong characters find a way back to one another. Rock Me was an awesome start to the new Bodyguard Bad Boys series from Carly Phillips. She nailed the second chance romance from their very first encounter. I loved seeing Summer and Ben find their way back to each other. I love books in a series and can't wait to see each of the sexy bodyguards fall in love with each new story.
