The Way We Rise

The Way We Rise is a great conclusion to the Story of Us series. Rory and Houston seem to have found their way back to each other only for Houston to suggest they try being friends. They have made mistakes and kept secrets, so Houston wants to take a different approach. They need to come to terms with the event that originally pushed them together and broke them. Their family and friends play key roles as secondary characters. The Way We Rise is emotional, with plenty of drama, angst, heat, and heart. The Way We Rise should only be read after reading The Way We Fall and The Way We Break. 4.5 stars *I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

Cassia!! She does it again! What a finale. All the feels! I loved this series and this was an amazing end to it. The story of Rory and Houston is absolutely beautiful. I would read these books again and again. The characters, the storyline, the pace of the book, everything about this I love and I cannot say anything bad about it. You will cry, you will laugh, you will want to throw your book or reading device against the wall. All I can say is you need to read this series and thank you Cassia for another great book to add to my collection.

"you can't erase love" That there sums up the entire series. Love is not always easy but it is always there. Nothing proved that more than this series. Cassia can paint a picture like no other with her books. You feel the emotions and take the journey with the characters. Houston and Rory's journey may have had some bumps and forks in the road but they managed to make it through. My favorite part of this book was the epic epilogue. It was probably her best one yet. Thank goodness "you can't erase love."
