About this eBook

She was in love with him.

The worst part? He knew.

It was Rebecca’s job to help keep the players on the San Francisco Gold healthy and she was damned good at it.

Unfortunately, not everyone thought her contributions were important.

In fact, some people—cough one Dr. Gabe Carter—thought her position with the team was unnecessary. Well, he was a jerk. She didn’t like him or care about his opinions and she definitely wasn’t in love with him. Definitely hadn’t been in love with him the moment she’d laid eyes on him—

Sigh.

She definitely was.

And to make matters worse? Gabe knew.

Rebecca is the team nutritionist who has a goal of making her hockey team the best health wise. Gabe is the head trainer who has a crush on Rebecca. I like how they became friends and how Rebecca slow worked to change him to vegan. Gabe and Rebecca had a slow burn relationship that went from enemies-friends-to lovers. I need to read the backlist of this series. ~Alex💜

This series and her last ones I've read all track the same base storyline. Gets abit mundane but anyway I binge read them. Easy, light reading that pulls you into a group of friends.

Rebecca and Gabe had a tempestuous history, to put it mildly. Working for the same organisation Gabe routinely shot Rebecca's ideas down without just cause. As a nutritionist for the Gold hockey team although wholesome, her foods were stereotyped to be unflavoured and were generally frowned upon. Gabe could support her decisions and make things a lot smoother but chose instead to make her work more difficult than necessary. When Rebecca encounters misfortune, Gabe happens to be able to provide a helping hand. Initially, Rebecca is skeptical of Gabe's offer of assistance. Are his intentions really just to offer a helping hand? From this one good dead can Rebecca and Gabe see that they are actually on the same side? And develop a friendship that could potentially lead to something more? EXPERT "Wine." "You drink wine?" "It's organic." Gabe smirked. "Of course, it is." She glared. He laughed. "I'm teasing." "You're not," she muttered. "But if you're not a jerk about it, I'll let you have a glass." Hands rising in surrender, she said, "I'll be on my best behavior." "Sure, you will," she grumbled but told hem where the glasses and bottle, along with the opener, were.
