This story held my attention, had great characters and is left open for another book or two! McKenna has bad luck with bad boys, and the only good thing that has came from those experiences is her daughter Daisy. While working and living with her cousin, McKenna's life is going good, until the day she meets Jed and sparks start to fly between them. I received a free copy in exchange for an honest review.

I liked the book and the storyline. I figured out the bad guy way too quickly and fell in love with Jed just as quickly. This is so my thing the ex-military alpha male who finds his woman and not only falls in love with her but her daughter and action in one story. I just felt that it needed some work. Another book is in the works so I'm super excited!

Jed Hamilton is back in Africa to meet with his sister who is getting married, against his wishes. There he meets McKenna and Daisy, a single mom and her little girl. She needs protection and he's just the man to do it. This is the first book in the Pytheon series and I can't wait for more from this series and author.
