About this ebook

I’m locked in a gymnasium with Oliver Winslow—the only man I’ve ever loved.

Sounds like a dream come true.

But it’s not.

The man is hot as hell with the biggest heart, but the kicker—he isn’t mine.

One truth is heart-wrenchingly obvious.

Unrequited love sucks.

Just being near him makes my heart stutter, and the way he stares at me, intense and soul-searing as if he knows every one of my secrets, causes me to unravel.

I won’t make it through the night.

Being stuck with him may break me.

While he’s looking for a way out, I’m looking for a way in.

Into his heart.

Oliver & Wren have always been good friends, but the timing was never right. One fateful night locked in their old school’s gym, truths come to light. I loved that these two gave good banter. And I loved how easy their friendship was. But, there’s always a monkey wrench. Fate can be fickle, but here’s hoping she’s on their side. The audiobook narration by Samantha Brentmoor & Robert Hatchet brought the characters & the town to life. The emotion & passion delivered by both was exceptional

Two friends Oliver and Wren who always secretly held a crush on each other but a series of circumstances and love interest kept them apart now one night in there old Highschool gym may just light a match to all those feelings both newly single she's avoided him until now hes thinking the best thing to do is leave town can a Blizard and a broken lock change all that. This is just a prequel it dise end on a cliffhanger and I'm looking forward to reading the full story when it comes out. I was allowed to read and advance copy of this short prequel and this is my honest review.

I enjoyed this short story and quickly got pulled into it. It is obviously a precursor to a full read. I liked getting to know the history and the relationship between Oliver and Wren. I felt like the characters were fully developed and there wasn't a cliffhanger except to know that the story will be continued. The full book will have issues between Oliver and his ex-fiance, Dot, and her father. Should be another good read! My honest review is for a special copy I voluntarily read.
