About this ebook

Rush – noun: a surging of emotion

My life is falling apart.

Fired from my job.

Blacklisted across NYC.

At odds with my mother.

The only thing good I have to hold on to is the memory of my steamy one-night stand.

Only I had no idea who Eli was…

Or that I’d end up working on his movie set.

The spark between us threatens to reignite every time we’re near each other.

But Eli wants more than just hot sex.

He has a daughter and wants a partner in life.

I’m seeking answers about my past and trying to plan my future.

Commitment is the last thing I want.

Yet, I’m unable to resist his pull and his passion.

His touch eases the turmoil in my life.

His kiss takes me to another place.

And the more time I spend with him and his daughter,

the harder it becomes to break away.

Though when forced to choose between Eli or a chance at a fresh start,

I’m not sure I can risk it all for love.

Rush is the fourth and final full-length novel in the Trojan series—a rockstar romance series that takes place after the band breaks up. Novels in the series are interconnected standalones, each with an HEA. Reading them in order is not crucial but recommended for the best reader experience.

Reading order:

Clutch (Trojan #1)

Reverb (Trojan #2)

Smash (Trojan #3)

Rush (Trojan #4)

After Pru and Eli have one steamy night together she never expected to see him again and she was fine with that. Eli is a single dad who wants to find a forever partner. When fate brings them together again at work on a movie he realizes that he wants Pru forever. Rush is book four and the final book in the Trojan series. The writing is well done, the characters are believable and this is a great conclusion to the series with a happily ever after.

Pru was not one for relationships and commitments, matter of fact she doesn't plan on getting married ever. Used to being alone she learned that to rely on herself is the safest way to keep from getting hurt. Also not one for one night stands she hooked up with a guy the night after she got fired from her job and her world fell apart. Pitching up for her new, even though temporary job, she didn't expect to run into the mystery man. Eli could not get her out of his mind but they did not even exchange names. So imagine his surprise when his new language coach turns out to be the woman he has been fantasizing about. The decided to keep it professional but it was a challenge to keep their distance. Especially when he found out they lived in the same building. But Eli was looking for someone who could be his forever, creating a home with him and his daughter, something never in the plans for Pru. Could he show her that she is worth so much more than she believes, can he mak

I've read several books written by S.M. West; she is becoming one of my favorite authors. I can’t wait to read more of her books. This is the fourth and final book in the Trojan Series; it can be read as a stand-alone but would be better if read in order. The story is about Pru, Eli & his daughter Crystal; her life is falling apart, she got fired from her job and is having problems with her mother. They end up spending a night together but he wants more than just a one-night stand and she’s not ready for more. I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
