The modern day concept of the unicorn is older than the KJV. They knew what rhinos were in 1611 so they weren't confusing the two when they put the word unicorn in the KJV. They erred. They also erred when they put the word satyr in the KJV. The KJV is convicted of over 20,000 errors. That's why scholars corrected it with revisions over the years. Discoveries since 1611 have greatly improved understanding of the ancient languages and cultures that produced the Bible and have resulted in better Bibles.
