Seven Minutes In Heaven: A Standalone Billionaire Romance

This series is fascinating to me because I'm curious about the different definitions of arranged marriage. Claire is a Hollywood heiress but there's not really much left to her family besides the name. In order to get a leg up in her career and continue to live the life she's grown accustomed to, she agrees to marry Arthur Carter, an aging producer who was friends with her grandfather. Arthur has quite the reputation in Hollywood of being a philanderer but Claire is only thinking about how he can secure her future. When Claire sees Arthur being Arthur with another woman at their engagement party, she decides to do the same with a very attractive man that she just met. Unfortunately for her, the man she chose turns out to be her soon to be stepson. What transpires is a story of fate, love, and chemistry. I wouldn't call Claire and Arthur's relationship "arranged." Claire is every bit a golddigger and her mother encourages this behavior. I loved the interactions between Claire and Jake. This story also parallels a lot of current news events regarding what happens behind the curtain in Hollywood and I appreciated how this subject was dealt with. *This is my voluntary review of an advanced reader copy*

Hollywood family relationships!!!! Another absolutely delightful and romantic read by Ms. Dane. Claire is a young aspiring actress. Arthur is a “dirty old” producer/director. Jake is his son and writes movies. There are twists and turns in the relationships, and the relationships work out in interesting ways. Everyone gets their “just rewards” with some much much better than others. Great characters, story, and writing. I received an ARC and I am leaving a voluntary review.

This is a great book with fantastic characters and a great story. Arthur is a famous director who is pushing seventy. Claire is a twenty five year old struggling actress. Claire agrees to marry Arthur. She just wants his money and help with her career. At their engagement party she discovers Arthur having sex with a young starlet but doesn't interfere. She was fully aware of his reputation for sleeping with the young starlets. Claire is out for revenge and finds the hot fellow that she was attracted to earlier. She drags Jake to a closet and they have sex. She discovers later that Jake is Arthur's son. Several months later she discovers that she's pregnant. Now she's really in a mess. Fun story with a hea. I am voluntarily reviewing an advanced copy of this book.
