At Levi’s request, Dante, with misgivings, returns to the one place he swore he never would come back to—Billings, Montana. The place where he lost his wife and daughter many years ago. If returning gives him a sense of peace or at least a way to reconcile what happened so he can move on, then fine. As it is, he finds more surprises in that department than he expected.

A 3.5 stars read. This one is really entertaining. A perfect combination of romance and suspense. An easy-to-read fast-paced light mystery. Loveable characters, sweet romance although I felt the fall in love part is too fast, lots of action, and although something didn't make sense, overall it's a solid read, I enjoyed it a lot. This is the kind of book to read after a hectic day or in between heavier books or series or if you just want an easy fun romance read with a light suspense in it.

I enjoyed this book. The combination of suspense and emotion is gripping, and the story does a great job of keeping you on the edge of your seat, while also tugging at your heartstrings. The burn between Dante and Laura is slow and the twist tantalizing. I am posting an elective, objective review.

While being on the run and with a teenager, Deborah has been found and needs Dante's help even though he has issues of his own. The interest between Dante and Deborah was well received but not as explosive as it should have been. Their chemistry was certainly there though. This was well written and the team spirit was alive and well, it was a great cast of characters. Lots of action, suspense and drama to pull the story along. Well done!!. I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
