Most offerings on the ebook stage are poorly written, with little or no editing care taken to avoid glaring continuity errors. This story is very short on scientific understanding of even basic physics so it is not science fiction. This is irritating as he'll when ideas are presented as facts behind misunderstood scientific names. But as totally fantasy it is a good story. If the scientific names were changed to occult term it would remove it fully into the realm of fantasy and be an even better story.

149 pages, not 195 as stated. Sooo, catchy story, pretty involving (if you like sci-fi, obviously), but what bothers me the most is many mistakes. Proofreader or editor not doing their job properly. Also, <150 pages for more than 3 quid is kinda expensive. Lee Child's older books are more than twice the content for 5 pounds, for example. I'm still reading though :)

About the author

I've always been thinking of stories for as long as I've been alive. I have way, way, way too many to tell and far too little time to tell them.

It was only in 2011 that I actually started shaping and weaving those random, jumbling, chaotic masses of thoughts into coherent narratives and began self-publishing.

I write a little science fiction, a little fantasy, a little humour and comedy, and a few other things all over the place.
