Loving an American Spy: Miracle Express is the third book in the Marsden Descendants series. This is a wonderful historical romance that starts during WWI and picks up years later when William and Victoria meet again. The characters are strong and loyal, both doing their part for the war effort when they first meet. The storyline is well written and the era is well researched. There is suspense, twists, and a second chance romance when they meet again years after the war. Are they still willing to take that chance? I read and reviewed this book with no obligation.

January 1915 Victoria was a nurse and headed to France to meet up with a regiment to a field hospital to help and do her part for the war. Daughter of a vicar, she had grown up to help those in need and with the terrible war raging nurses where needed desperately. She meets William who sits beside her on the train to France and as they talked, it seemed she had finally found a man she felt comfortable with. But when they got to their destination, she would probably never see him again. He was off to fight in the war and him being an American, it seemed just a chance meeting. But she received a letter from him and he wanted to see her as much as she longed to see him.. When she next saw him, he was a wounded soldier in the field hospital. This is a wonderful story of the persaverance of two people who meet and become instantly attracted. Their journey against all odds in a world torn with war to ever be together. Well written and a story of the heart!
