I really liked this one set in the early 1900’s it is the story of Angeline and Lucian. Angeline is involved with a suffragette group and wants to make a difference. If you remember history this did not sit well with certain members of the population. That is the underline story, with the romance of these two the main theme, but they intertwined well. It was not a long read, but it was full of distrust and doubt you start to wonder if this relationship is meant to be. Loved the ending it was a great book to spend time on. I did receive a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to review it.

First off I must declare I am a Dawn Brower fan and loyal supporter. I click very well with her writing skill and can't wait to read her next books. With this been said I was a bit dissapointed with this episode in the Marsden saga. If you have read all the books in this series it makes a much better read but it is a stand alone. I loved the fact that Lucian and Angeline are destined to be together it's a perfect match. Angeline has the same temperament of her Aunt Lily and a tendency to get herself into trouble. Lucian the older brother of her best friend always comes to her rescue. A lovely adventure in romance as they work out their path to happiness. I can recommend this book from young adult up as there is only a brief intimate scene at the end. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I typically like Dawn Brower books and I didn't dislike this one. However there was more anger, hostility and straight up lust than romance and love shown. I like the suffragette movement part. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
