This is book five in The Stealth Security Series and it is Thaddeus and Jana's story. Thaddeus is a former navy seal and he now works for Stealth Security, he is used to being alone and he is definitely not relationship or marriage material but when he is assigned to be a bodyguard to Nana things get a bit complicated. Jana is a independent, sassy and strong woman after being raised by her grandmother from a early age and after taking over her grandfather's shop she invented something worth a lot of money for the skiing world as skiing was Jana passion but when she becomes a target because of her invention her grandmother hires Thaddeus to be her body bodyguard to protect her but things don't go as planned between them as Jana feels that she doesn't need anyone to take care of her until danger gets closer and she realised that maybe she does need help. Jana and Thaddeus have strong chemistry but they are both stubborn about crossing that line. Wow I absolutely loved this book with all its twists and turns and it was a real page turner as it took me in right from the first page and kept my attention right to the last page and I couldn't put this book down. Emily Jane Trent is an amazing author and writer and I definitely recommend you read this book, series and other books by her and you will definitely not be disappointed. Jana, a biathlete, cross-country skier, businesswoman and engineer, has developed a biofeedback device that will assist with training in some sports. Thaddeus is another of Stealth’s former SEAL and a loner. Jana’s grandmother recognises that Jana is in danger even Jana herself doesn’t. So finally, she took matters into her own hands and hired a bodyguard for Jana. Enter Thaddeus who had been recalled from another job. Even though the two very different personalities, there is an attraction from the start. Jana initially refuses to accept that there is a need for a bodyguard, but soon realises her grandmother was right. I enjoyed the story although I would have liked to have learnt a bit more about Thad. What I really did enjoy reading about was the biathlons. And in this day and age of serial releases of books, being able to read an entire story and once is a great treat, I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
