Weston and Jane were high school sweethearts; their intense relationship crashed and burned when Weston went off to college on a football scholarship leaving Jane devastated and Weston filled with regret. 10 years later Jane and Weston’s lives converge once more when Weston is transferred to play for the team Jane works for. Jane has harbored a lot of resentment towards Weston and has never fully recovered from their break-up, becoming very guarded in the process. There were other circumstances regarding the break-up hinted at through the narrative building tension within the plot. My mind always goes to the worst-case scenario so there were a lot of heart palpitations occurring while reading. Despite their agonizing break-up, it is blatantly obvious that neither Weston or Jane has lost their feelings for the other; the only problem is the reason for their break in the first place is still relevant today – the time and dedication required to be a first-class athlete. Jane and Weston belong together, that much is undeniable BUT can Weston see past the barriers to the solution and take a chance on love 💓💖💘 You’ll have to read it to find out 😘

This book is another amazing story that I just couldn't wait to get my hands on! I love second chances, I love sports romances, and I love HEAs. This book has all of that and more! Jane is one in a million. She has every guy's dream job, as the assistant manager of a professional football team. She's strong, independent, and confident in who she is. But, like everyone, there is a story behind how she became who she is. That story is one of first love, loss, and heartache. Weston is a quarterback for a professional football team. He has had his share of hurt, and bad relationships, but he is also the one who broke Jane's heart. And now he is back, once again playing football in their hometown, for the same team Jane works for. Old hurts and feelings are rising to the surface, and Jane isn't sure how to handle that. Neither is Weston. This book was at times sad, but mostly it was fun to watch the chemistry bubbling under the surface between Weston and Jane. Oh, boy! The heat between those two could melt steel! This was a great book, that kept me guessing, but also left me with a sense of rightness between them! This is definitely one I'd recommend to anyone looking for a great second chance romance!

A flirtatious, fiery, and emotional second-chance romance that will make you fall in love with sports romances all over again! Dear Jane gives you everything you love about Kendall Ryan romance – excitement, entertainment, and a love story that’s not only red hot but loaded with feels. Weston and Jane have a complicated and somewhat unresolved history. Tensions arise, and old wounds resurface when Weston is traded to a new football team, the same team Jane works for. And after 10 years apart, their chemistry and attraction to one another clearly hasn’t gone away, along with the hurt and pain that accompanies their reconnection. But can these two make a relationship work again, or will responsibilities and ambition tear them apart for a second time? I thoroughly enjoyed this book, just like every book the author releases. Dear Jane showcases another aspect to the author’s writing style that makes her readers crave even more from her. The connection between Weston and Jane was intense, giving an enemies-to-lovers-ish vibe to the storyline at first, that quickly transforms into a second chance love story with emotional baggage and unresolved issues. But as entertaining as this book was, I personally think the characters restarted their relationship a little too quickly, as given evidence from the story by how hurt and emotionally crushed Jane was when her relationship with Weston ended the first time. (A very big specific reason I won’t state, as that would be way too spoiler-y.) It just seemed a little bit rushed for my taste. But otherwise, the story was fantastic. The dynamic between them was not only smoking hot, but hilarious and downright swoon worthy! If you love a fun, sweet, and sexy love stories with a sports theme and dreamy characters, then Dear Jane is just the book for you! A highly recommended quick steamy read.
