This was a good read! This was a first for me from this author, and the writing kept my attention right from the start! This was a light hearted read, without a lot of drama. Wes and Jane were high school sweethearts that couldn't make the long distance thing work. There were other things going on, but I don't want to spoil anything! I liked Wes and Jane together, and I thought they had great chemistry. I know other reviewers didn't like that Jane forgave Wes so easily, but I didn't think there was a whole lot to forgive. He was in the dark about the past, and although he was stupid for trying to make decisions for Jane, it wasn't an unforgivable thing. I loved the epilogue, it was super cute! I voluntarliy reviewed an advanced readers copy of this book.

**I voluntarily read an early copy of this title in exchange for an honest review** Dear Jane is a wonderful second chance romance that really showcased how strong a connection can be even if one party has deeply hurt the other one. It showed that forgiveness is possible even when you think it's the last thing that will ever be given. Weston and Jane have a lot of history, but when they parted ways previously, they did not end on good terms. Weston went off to chase his dream of becoming a professional football player leaving Jane to wonder what went so wrong. Fast forward to the present and Weston and Jane are back in the same town and beyond that, they are working for the same football team. The question is, how will the two handle being back in the other's life? Will things thaw between them or will the divide grow? I loved these two characters. I loved that Jane was strong-willed, smart, sassy and independent and equally, I loved that Wes was not only the quintessential sexy football star, but he also was sweet, sensitive and real. I loved that he took responsibility for the part he had played years ago, which just endeared him to me even more. I am a sucker for a great sports romance and Kendall Ryan definitely scored with this one!

A flirtatious, fiery, and emotional second-chance romance that will make you fall in love with sports romances all over again! Dear Jane gives you everything you love about Kendall Ryan romance – excitement, entertainment, and a love story that’s not only red hot but loaded with feels. Weston and Jane have a complicated and somewhat unresolved history. Tensions arise, and old wounds resurface when Weston is traded to a new football team, the same team Jane works for. And after 10 years apart, their chemistry and attraction to one another clearly hasn’t gone away, along with the hurt and pain that accompanies their reconnection. But can these two make a relationship work again, or will responsibilities and ambition tear them apart for a second time? I thoroughly enjoyed this book, just like every book the author releases. Dear Jane showcases another aspect to the author’s writing style that makes her readers crave even more from her. The connection between Weston and Jane was intense, giving an enemies-to-lovers-ish vibe to the storyline at first, that quickly transforms into a second chance love story with emotional baggage and unresolved issues. But as entertaining as this book was, I personally think the characters restarted their relationship a little too quickly, as given evidence from the story by how hurt and emotionally crushed Jane was when her relationship with Weston ended the first time. (A very big specific reason I won’t state, as that would be way too spoiler-y.) It just seemed a little bit rushed for my taste. But otherwise, the story was fantastic. The dynamic between them was not only smoking hot, but hilarious and downright swoon worthy! If you love a fun, sweet, and sexy love stories with a sports theme and dreamy characters, then Dear Jane is just the book for you! A highly recommended quick steamy read.
