Shades of Truth

Wow, this book packed a punch! It was one wild and crazy non-stop ride and I couldn't flip the pages fast enough to see where this would all go. Dennis kept me on my toes during this story and all I can say is that I never guessed in a million years where this story was headed. Let's just say I had the surprise pikachuuuu face when a big revel happened. I also loved how Hank was more involved in the story and action this go around. I love this grumpy anti-hero and loved seeing him in action protecting those he cares about. Also shows that he may be old, but he still got some fire left in him. Plus I loved all the fatherly bonding moments with Carly. Plus I just have to say I need more Marco, Carly, and Hank in my life. This has been my favorite book in the series so far and can't wait to see how all the dominoes will fall in the last book. Another fantastic read in this series. Carly Moore is determined to sort out Bart Drummond but twists and turns are thrown in all the way. An absolute gripping read which I couldn't put down and completely disrupted all my sleep. Y'all this book is unbelievably fantastic! Denise has outdone herself! Her writing is always extraordinary, but this book takes it up another notch. There is so much going on that I had this pounding heartbeat as I read, just waiting for the next shoe to drop. Carly is in a world of trouble and so is everyone around her. With so many bad characters after her and not knowing who she can trust, Carly may not stand a chance of getting out of Drum alive. If you read one book this month, this year...This Is It! So well written! So heart stopping! So great! My Best Read This Year! A MUST READ!
