About this ebook

The 12th explosive novel in the internationally bestselling Skulduggery Pleasant series, BEDLAM will blow your mind – and change everything...

On a desperate journey to recover her sister's lost soul, Valkyrie Cain goes up against the High Sanctuary itself, and there's nothing Skulduggery Pleasant can do to stop her.

With Abyssinia's grand plan about to kick off in a night of magic, terror, and bloodshed, it falls to Omen Darkly to save the lives of thousands of innocent people.

And as the madness unfolds around him, as hidden enemies step into the light, and as Valkyrie is sucked into a desperate, lawless quest of her own, he has no choice but to become the hero he never really wanted to be — or die in the attempt.

With regard to plot and storyline, derek landy never fails. There are so many things going on, so many loving characters, so many lost souls. I didn't watch Netflix for one week, stayed away from the any mobile devices and just wanted to come home and finish reading. And when I did....all I will say is.. I did not see this coming. Thank you Derek Landy, I hate you. And yet, still love you and cant wait for book 13. xoxo.

Absolutely fantastic! This in my opinion the best Skulduggery Pleasant book in the series and Derek Landy has really out done himself this time. Bedlam is no acception to the rest of the Skulduggery books and contains the usual level of sarcasm, witticisms and self-gratification with a unique fusion of excitement, intrigue and subtle violence; yet Bedlam takes on a whole new level of magic itself with more twists than a pretzel and Landy, like any good author saves the best of them till last leaving you literally begging on you knees for the next book.

The plot had alot of surprising twists nearing the end of the book. A great amount of new information was displayed, which was hard to absorb and process sometimes. The character development of Omen Darkly was pleasant and satisfying to see as he could challenge Auger in the position of being the Chosen One. Very great book, overall a good read.

About the author

Derek Landy lives near Dublin. Before writing his children's story about a sharply dressed skeleton detective, he wrote the screenplays for a zombie movie and a murderous horror film. "I think my career-guidance teacher is spinning in her grave," he says, "or she would be if she were dead."
