Lethal Standoff is a thrilling, heart stopping, slow burn mystery. Full of twists & turns, this book kept me fully engaged with endearing characters, a lovely he falls first romance, witty dialogue, & a complex whodunit. If you’re a fan of romantic suspense, this is a must read. The ending had me completely surprised. I did not see the villain coming. It’s definitely a thrill ride that was hard to put down with a sweet romance that I thoroughly enjoyed. Highly recommend!

What a great book, and what an ending! Carrington Reed finds herself at a hostage situation, brought in as a negotiator. Levi Ehrlich, a journalist, is also on the scene. After the end of the hostage situation, Carrington and Levi find themselves drawn into an investigation involving human trafficking, drug dealings, and family dynamics. Carrington deals with a major health issue and tries to avoid getting emotionally involved with Levi. Keeps you on the edge of your seat!
