About this eBook

Nurse Shelly Westbrook has returned home to Marietta hoping to give her son and niece a Christmas holiday to reboot a disappointing year.  Christmas is magic and Marietta is the perfect place for them all to start over.

Dr. Peter Davidson has never indulged in the Christmas spirt, but he thinks he’s hallucinating when he reaches the city limits and sees a sleigh driven by a white bearded man in a red suit. The minor collision is inevitable, as is his slight concussion. His obsession with the beautiful angel of a nurse who stops to render aid is unexpected, but just what the doctor ordered.

Can two people nursing broken hearts find love in a quiet mountain town that has always promised new beginnings?

I have been waiting for " Dr Peter" to get his book for SO long and it was so worth the wait! Author Patricia e Fischer has given us a wonderful look into Marietta at Christmas time. We also got to see more into the history of Lucy, Edmund & Peter and how they got to be like they are. If you have read the other books ( if not I highly recommend them) you know each sibling is very caring and giving and yes very much into medicine. In this book we get to know Peter but also one of the nurses Shelly and her family too. This book had me smiling, laughing and yes even crying at times. I adore not just Marietta but this author. She knows how to reach deep down into my heart and squeeze... Thank you Tule for giving us authors like this to read not just at Christmas but all year long.

I enjoyed reading about Peter and Shelly in Doctor for Christmas by Patricia W. Fischer, book three in her Marietta Medical series. Dr. Peter Davidson travels to Marietta, Montana to be with his siblings as he is in need of family support. Peter had his hands full with grieving eight year old twins, he hadn’t known about; receiving guardianship of them after the recent unexpected death of their mother. As he approaches the town he has a slight accident with Santa and his sleigh. While waiting for the EMTs, Nurse Shelly Westbrook arrives on the scene. Shelly, accompanied by her teen son and niece, was returning to Marietta after a disastrous trip to Las Vegas and a final break with her cheating ex-husband. Peter falls for Shelly at first sight, but with all of disappointments she’s suffered at the hands of her ex-, Shelly does not trust or believe in love at first sight. It might just take a miracle for Peter to convince her that they belonged together. The way Peter’s family accepted and loved on his children was what a family does. Also, Shelly’s son and niece were wonderful role models as the four of them spent time together. Being able to work at the hospital was helpful for Peter, especially in figuring out whether or not he and the kids could move to Marietta. The addition of these four children played a vital role in this story, enriching it. I loved how Shelly and Peter helped each other find the happiness they deserved. Ms. Fischer wrote a wonderfully sweet and moving story that is not to be missed. It had me laughing, crying and everything in between. This story is filled with sexual attraction, fun dialogue, and endearing characters. I highly recommend Doctor for Christmas to other readers and look forward to the next book in the series. I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book.

Loved this Christmas story between nurse Shelly and Dr Peter. Peter is on his way with his twins, 9 year olds that he just found out about to Marietta to spend the holidays with his family. Shelly is also on her way back to Marietta with her son and niece from her wedding in Vegas that didn't happen. Peter is involved in an accident, with whom no other than, Santa Claus (Mr Nichols). Shelly comes upon the accident. Two lost souls, that find comfort in each other that develop into so much more. Can it be love in one week or is it just lust. Such a fun story, with so many Christmas traditions in Marietta, really puts you in the mood for the holidays. Great chemistry between Peter and Shelly. I really felt for Peter, not knowing about his twins, just wow. Loved all of kids!! A well written story that I had a hard time putting down. I highly recommend.
