I loved this short-novel very very much! This is my favourite story of the Book Club Series! It's passionate, entrancing with a touch of mystery and suspense, a fascinating combination. A must-read story!

I loved this book ! And not just because Michael is going to get his comeuppance 🤩 I loved Lena from ‘Tempting the dangerous tycoon’ and her chemistry with Connor was obvious. Although the characters are first seen in the first book the series, it could be read without first reading any of the series. It’ll make you want to though

She is his ideal woman, smart and beautiful… but… too Lena, Connor is a very handsome pain-in-the-butt. Trouble is brewing. The embezzling villain from book one of The Book Club, Michael Finnegan, is not getting away with his crimes. Since it’s a white-collar crime he’s let off on bail and not considered to be dangerous. Well, maybe that was a wrong assumption. He has threatened Lena’s life because she found out how he made his embezzlements work. Connor smells a rat and is being proactive in protecting his lady. Lena can fight Connor all she wants but he is going to make her his. I love the story, I LOVE Connor. I received an advanced copy for free and am leaving a voluntary review. Linda
