About this ebook

Martha and Arthur have a wonderful time,
spending their lives in a world of rhyme.
The gentle dragons are on a quest
to always improve and be their best.
Today, while eating some tasty grapes,
they realize they must learn their shapes.

In this book, our delightful dragon friends are tucking in to some fruit, when they happen upon a grape and wonder about its shape. Realizing they need to expand their knowledge, they fashion their own cute little book containing catchy rhymes to help them (and of course, their friend, your child) understand basic constructs (lines, squiggles and curves), and then learn and remember basic shapes (circle, oval, triangle, etc.) Being such helpful little dragons, they also include examples of everyday objects that match each of the shapes they cover - look out for the adorable Martha clock on the “Circular things” page.

Features of this kids’ picture book:
- Martha and Arthur are super-cute, friendly, dragons.
- The illustrations cover every page and are big, bold, brightly colored, and simply adorable!

About the author

 One afternoon, just for fun,

Fable drew a dragon, enjoying the sun.
But that one dragon was not the end,
as Fable decided to give her a friend.

“Ooooh...” said Fable, “I like their look.
Maybe I should put them in a book?
It would be fun and fulfill my yearning
to help small children with their learning.”

A decision was made that the book should rhyme,
and the dragons would have a wonderful time,
but most of all, they would be on a quest
to always improve and be their best.

So in between, much other stuff,
six books were created. It was kind of tough.
There was much to do and much to learn.
Both ends of the candle had to burn.

But there was some help along the way.
A psychologist and a teacher had their say.
They gave their input and were very nice,
and humble Fable took their advice.

Now the books are ready and in the store,
and if they are liked, there will be some more.
Other things are on their way,
but what they are, I can’t yet say…
