DJ loses both his mother and grandmother with in a short time of each other. He join a club called Tryst where he sold his body. His last client almost killed him. He hasn't taken any clients since then but he finally looked on line and someone needed a fake boyfriend so he decided to do it. Ronnie's ex is getting married and invited him to the wedding. He doesn't want to go alone, He hires DJ to go with him and pretend to be his boyfriend. I really enjoyed the two main characters and their story.

At the age of 17, DJ loses his mother and is thrown out of the house by his hateful father. Before he even turns 18, his loving grandmother became sick and never left the hospital. Although his mom had left everything to DJ, he needed to keep his mind busy to keep the pain of loss away, so he joined a club called Tryst where he provided a “service” to men. His last client drugged, attacked, and abused him almost to the point of death. His jaw had been broken in three places, he had stitches all over him, and had lost some memory. Needless to say, trusting any stranger after that gave him panic attacks, so he had not taken any further clients for a long time. After therapy and friends helping him get his memories back, DJ started looking at the messages again on Tryst. He saw one that captured his attention where someone’s ex was getting married and the guy needed a fake boyfriend to attend the ex’s wedding. They met for coffee and he decided to accept the job which would last 3 weeks. But lots can happen in 3 weeks, both good and bad. And falling in love is the best part! I have to say that I adore this couple. When they first met at the coffee shop, they were hysterically funny with their banter. When they agreed that DJ will stay at Ronnie’s place so they can get to know each other, they were pure perfection! Discovering things about each other and just enjoying being together was so comfortable and I think I smiled through most of the book whenever they were together. But there are still surprises for the reader, so grab your copy and share DJ and Ronnie’s story. It will touch your heart – and a dog you’ll swear is human makes it perfect!
