Faking It with #41

Book 3 in the Hockey Hotties Series and for me this book is the best so far, this is certainly a series that is getting better and better with each read and that’s hard to do when you fall hard and fast for each of the hero’s. If single dads and sports romance is your jam you will definitely want to one click Ford and Lena’s entertaining, witty and at times emotional romance. Ford has the world at his feet, he is at the top of his game and loving being the playboy hockey star but his world is turned upside down when his baby daughter is left with him because her mother has decided she isn’t ready for motherhood. From that point on he decides he is going to be the best daddy that little girl could ever have and if that means cleaning up his act then that’s what he will do and that’s where Lena comes in. Lena is the Family PR consultant and she is sent to Florida to spin the news reports circulating but her boss, Ford’s father also wants more from her, he wants her to marry his wayward son…… What starts off as fake soon turns into so much more, I fell hard and fast for Ford, I adored Lena and I loved everything about this wonderful read. I laughed, I smiled, I swooned and I sighed as I found myself wishing and hoping this could got the HEA they both so deserved. This book as you would expect from this talented duo is perfect in every way, it has the perfect mix of passion and humour, it has just enough drama to keep you on the edge of your seat and I highly recommend you one click this gem of a read.

I am seriously in deep love with Ford and Lena!The authors pulled the tension so taut that when they give in, it was pure ecstasy. The road from fake to real was riddled with uncertainty, stubbornness, heartbreak and pain that only made the happily ever after sweeter. A NYE kiss can lead to forever... Faking It with #41 is the third installment in the ‘Hockey Hotties’ series by Piper Rayne. Each boy follows a different player from the Florida Fury hockey team, and they are all standalones but still interconnected. You don’t need to have read the first two to read this one, though. Ford Jacobs is the sexy hockey player that Lena has to ‘look after’ during her time as PR for his wealthy family. Ford was expected to take over his father’s business but he wants nothing to do with the company. Hockey is his life, that and playing hard and fast outside the rink. Everything was fine… in his eyes at least, until he was literally left holding the baby. He’s a hot, sexy dad and Lena finds it hard to resist him, especially when Ford’s father comes up with a plan to fix Ford’s bad image. There’s some pushing and pulling between these two as they try to find even ground and make what turns out to be real feelings, into the fake relationship that Ford’s father had planned. But, as always, love wins over all and this small family of three can be happy ever after.
