About this eBook

Snuggle up on your favorite chair and get comfortable. This exciting small-town rom-com is the perfect read for your lazy afternoon. (Written by a natural, semi-intelligent human being, not A.I.)

Dax is no stranger to trouble. If he isn’t stirring it up, he’s sniffing it out faster than a bloodhound does a bone. But even his limits are tested when he finds a beautiful woman hiding in the back of his van. She’s the only person who can out-crazy his best efforts. She’s frustrating, sexy…and the one thing standing between him and his dreams.

Lissa goes where the wind takes her, but this time her spontaneity has put a target on her back. On the run, she thinks Dax and his band of rescue dogs just might be the only way to put her pursuers off the scent.

Getting attached can only lead to trouble, but Dax and Lissa can’t fight their animal attraction. Somewhere along the way, Dax’s priorities change from keeping Lissa safe, to just keeping her, period. But love doesn’t come without sacrifice. Dax might love a challenge, but Lissa might be more than he can handle.

Forever Wild is a must-read for people who love small-towns, a free-spirited heroine who’s nothing but trouble, and romances filled with heat and furball humor. It’s perfect for fans of Roxanne St. Clair and Jill Shalvis.

We've met Dax in the first two books, but here he is front and center as the MC. We knew he was a scamp always in and out of scrapes, but here he meets his match when he finds a quirky stowaway in the back of the van he's driving to bring some rescue pups back to the shelter. Dax is the fun loving guy who always seems to find himself in a bit of trouble, but nothing too serious. He's finally seeing his way to the future of his dreams, but he starts falling for Lissa, an artist and free spirit, who is running away from some very bad men from New Orleans. Hence the stowaway. Of course, nothing is easy in their romance and hi-jinks ensue. They can't help but fall in love and I enjoyed every moment of their road to a happily ever after. There are plenty of grins and you can't help but cheer for this charming, goofy couple. I so enjoy Ms. Charles's books, and look forward to finding more from this talented author. This is the third book in the Forever Romance series. You can enjoy this book as a standalone but it is connected to books 1 and 2. Dax shows up in book 1 when the towns judge makes Dax serve his probation at Forever Friends. Dax is a little impulsive but he's also a little cautious too and into being outdoors. He works for an outdoor adventure company but he's also come to enjoy his time spent working with the dogs at Forever Friends. Lissa is an artist, carefree, high spirited and very impulsive, she tend to act without any thought to consequences. As Dax gets to know Lissa he goes from thinking she's completely loony to how he's going to live without her when she leaves. Steamy, well written with great characters. I really love this series. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Forever Wild, #3 - I don't know which is better, Found or Wild. This LOL, hard-to-put-down story is filled with good characters, and two fun-filled special additions, interesting story lines and adventures, along with a bit of NOLA intrigue. Source: Booksprout. 5* Forever Home, #1 - A fun, interesting romance with other stuff. The past, an unscrupulous co-worker, food stealing dog are just some of the things happening in this well written story. Interesting characters, both two- and four-legged, with their stories blended into an entertaining one-sitting read. The only complaint is the use of vulgar language and cursing, which while not frequent, just messed up the flow of the story. The sex scenes were skipped, written sex is so boring, so if any interesting pillowtalk or thoughts occurred, it did not effect the story. I would give this book a three-star rating but the story is not average, which is what three stars mean to me. If Gabe and Marla's story is next, I'll volunteer for
