Seal Team Six is spending their break at All Creatures Safari in Africa. Having been there previously, catching poachers on their last visit, they decide it's the perfect place to relax with the added benefit of seeing Talia again. Talia is the owner of All Creatures and the most beautiful woman Harm's ever met. While there, mysterious things happen at the Inn. Harm is plagued with nightmares, a spitting cobra is killed at the end of his teammates' bed, chickens are slaughtered, and Talia's workers stop coming to work-fearful for their lives. The witch doctor in town claims that Talia's Inn is cursed and has all the townspeople fearful. He repeatedly warns Talia that more bad things are to come, unless she leaves Africa. Harm and his team vow to help Talia-especially when she ends up missing... Talia suffered the loss of her husband, Michael, one year ago and is not looking for a relationship. Harm, having been burned in the past is also not looking for a relationship-especially when he and his team are leaving in four days. But the chemistry between Harm and Talia is undeniable. They embark on a four day affair, that becomes so much more. Will Harm and his team be able to rescue Talia before it's too late? The underlying theme of animal conservation and women's rights are prevalent in this story. It's sad to see animals being killed for notoriety and their tusks. It brings to light what a big money making business killing endangered animals is. This story also touches on how women are valued in Africa--they're NOT! If you believe in insta-love mixed with suspense, then this novel is for you. I read a gifted copy and all opinions stated are my own.

Harmon and the rest of the team from SEAL Team 6 are back at All Creatures Safari for some extended R&R after their last attempt was disrupted. Harm doesn't do relationships and Talia is the owner of the resort where he is staying. He feels a pull towards her, unlike any other woman ever has, but she was widowed recently and he is not about to go lusting after her. But when attempts are made to sabotage the resort and then pot shots are taken at her, Harm and the boys (and their new partners) all chip in to help. Talia is living her late husbands dream. She feels slightly lost without him as they were together since they were kids but she also feels an attraction to Harm and feels she is disrespecting her husbands memory. Wow! A lot can happen in 4 days on a Safari. Harm is a brilliant mix of Alpha male and considerate lover. Talia is sincerely portrayed as a recent widow, attempting to move on, whilst not forgetting her time with her late husband. I loved the way she stood up for the local animals against the poachers. She also treats her native staff as family and most of them hate to leave her when the sabotage begins. Great read and I enjoyed just as much as the previous books.

A fast paced read full of action. I liked Harm and Talia. Their relationship was sweet and sexy. I also enjoyed the other members of the Team. Included in the tale was a mystery surrounding Talia's safari camp. You get supense, intrigue, and action. The culprit behind the mysterious circumstances was pretty obvious and easy to spot early on. Overall this was an entertaining fast read. A definite 3.5 stars. I voluntarily read and reviewed this book received from the author.
