Most books on exercise are just going to give you a short introduction, give you the workout plan, and then give you a conclusion. This book goes a lot further than that. It starts off by giving you a brief biology lesson on the different types of muscles in the stomach and how to recognize which exercises are beneficial to which target muscle group. It then continues on practical tips to help prepare you before you start your six week program. This includes tips on reducing stress (which can affect your results when exercising), how to track your results, plus much more. Of course, it then gives you the workout to give you the best results to get the six-pack abs along with what your diet should consist of while you are on the workout program. Finally, it gives a section on how to maintain your new look and has a Frequently Asked Question Chapter to help answer the most common questions the beginner has when starting the workout. I was very impressed with the book, and if you are looking to get six-pack abs in a short time, this is a great book to start you on your way.
