Georgette Heyer has always been a remarkable writer and does not disappoint now. I admit that in one place in this book, something had been taken out. I re read it a few times to make sense of it but that section didn't make sense. No fault of the writer I think it has been edited. For what purpose I can't imagine. Most of the books are split to make more money which why the books seem like short stories. However, this includes the right ending. What a frustrating thing for the authors. I have read this book before. Don't be put off. this authors depth of characters is amazing. I have loads of her books and every single one is a gem.
