5 star review of Gibson’s Melody (Last Score #2.5) by K L Shandwick This was as entertaining and as emotional as the previous two books and exceedingly well written. The other shoe has finally dropped and both Gibson and Chloe’s pasts have finally caught up with them. From the first chapter I was riveted to Gibson’s Melody and had a hard time putting it down when real life got in the way. There were moments where I cried like a baby, the devastating loss that Piper experienced threw me back to my childhood my heart broke for her. Gibson and Chloe really stepped up and their caring and support took this book to another level. This was yet another gritty, emotional roller coast of a read that had some surprising twists and turns that caught me off guard. It may be a short read but K L Shandwick packed an awful lot into this story. The love that Gibson and Chloe share is truly beautiful to read.
