Having read the saga of Mo Dao Zu Shi first, I was at a loss reading this book. It doesn't feel like it's written by the same person, so stark is the contrast in the quality of writing... Also, I definitely did not enjoy the misogyny present in the book which seems to be a running theme in this author's work. If this was the 1st book I'd read by them, I would completely abandon this author but for the sake of what they did with MDZS I'll give the 2nd book a try. I would not recommend this book though.

No pictures as one might have thought. The narrator is a snarky cussing wreck you can't help but love and the main character is a bumbling sentimentalist who seems to always fail but never gives up! A beautiful and silly read. This is also LGBTQ esc

By far the greatest series of books I've ever read, I want to give it 20 or a hundred stars. I have read this series over and over and it takes me through all the emotions every single time. Truly a great mind that created this work 👏
