Margaret Watkins
The fourth book in The Dark Duke's Legacy series, this novel is suspenseful, fast-paced, and romantic. Keeping his eye on the family's nemesis, Lord Justice White espies the beautiful Lady Violet. Despite his aversion to relationships, he nevertheless discovers that his protective instincts come out in full force when he realizes that her father is planning on bartering her off to the criminally minded Macklemeyer, although that is not the only name by which he goes. Violet has never stood up for herself, having been forced into submission by her father, but as the plot unfolds, she finally comes to a place where she is determined to make her own choices. When Violet is placed in danger, Justice will do whatever is necessary to save her, even if it means that his quest remains incomplete. Justice is the man Violet has been waiting for all her life, and little does he realize it, but she is exactly what he needs. Although the plot ends on an inconclusive note, this novel is a standalone and comes to a happy conclusion. I received a copy of this novel as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Her Wanton White is a splendid historical romance by Tammy Andresen. Ms. Andresen has created a well-written story rounded out with a spectacular cast of characters. Lord Justice White is hot on the trail of a traitor that has been making his family miserable. Violet is repulsed by the man her father wants her to marry. Justice and Violet's tale is packed with drama, humor, sexy bits, action and suspense. I enjoyed this book and look forward to my next book by Tammy Andresen. Her Wanton White is book 4 of the Dark Duke's Legacy Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.
