About this ebook

A duchess in need…

Walking in London can be dangerous… especially when one is contemplating their entire future and not paying a bit of attention to where she has wandered…But when the Dowager Duchess of Whitehaven realizes her mistake, it’s too late.

Before she can scream, a cutpurse has her in his clutches.

Fortunately for her, the dashing Lord Declan Parker comes to her rescue and in romantic fashion, saves her life. Not that she’s interested. Yes, he’s handsome, noble, strong, and kind. And certainly, her benefactor and stepson wishes for her to remarry. Soon.

But how she can give herself to another man when the scars she bears from her first marriage are still so fresh?

Still, whenever she looks upon his strong jaw and piercing brown eyes, she can’t deny that she’s tempted.

Her White Wedding is a phenomenal historical romance by Tammy Andresen. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Ms. Andresen has once again delivered a book that will keep readers glued to their book from start to finish. Esme was relieved when her husband died but it's been a year and now she needs to find a kind man to wed to help her raise her son. Declan rescued Esme from a cutpurse and saw her to safety. Declan and Esme's story is loaded with drama, humor, spice and misunderstandings. I enjoyed Her White Wedding and look forward to my next book by Tammy Andresen. This is book 7 of the Dark Duke's Legacy but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliffhanger. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book that I received from Bookfunnel. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

"What a happy year it had been." Esme was finally free of her terrible husband and after a year she knew it was time for her to remarry and not depend upon the new Duke. Unfortunately, while she was walking, she was accosted by a thief. Then he was there and rescued her. Oh yes, he...Lord Declan Parker. Each had past that were painful and neither had know about, but as they got to know each other, an attraction grew. I have enjoyed this series so much and really do not want it to end! A fabulous story from this great storyteller, who always leaves me smiling!!

I have enjoyed the entire series, and this novel is the perfect culmination to the Dark Duke's Legacy. Esme suffered every bit as much as her step-children did under the tyrannical hand of the late Duke. Whilst the children had made their escape, Esme was stuck in a marriage that robbed her of her youth and her joy of living. Deep in thought Esme walks into a perilous situation and is rescued by Lord Declan Parker, who immediately recognises her from the past. Unfortunately, his opinion of Esme is clouded by his own bad experiences, and despite protecting her, he cannot help but judge her for the choices she made. Off to a rocky start, when Esme stands up for herself, Declan begins to understand that matters may not be at all what he first thought. If he considered that his interaction with Esme was fraught with tension, nothing prepared him for Justice's reaction towards him! Both Declan and Esme have to set aside the damage done to them before they can consider a future, but when they do they find a love and intimacy that brings healing to their souls. This romance is a standalone and comes to joyful conclusion. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntlary review.
