Hot Velocity is a romantic suspense by Elle James. Ms. James has outdone herself with this edge-of-your-seat read. I love the characters in this book! T-Rex leaves his post in the military when he's loaned to Homeland Security. He happens to see Sierra being dragged from the yard of the community center daycare by her hair. T-Rex and Sierra's story is fast-paced and filled with drama, humor, sexy bits, action and suspense. I enjoyed every page of this book and look forward to my next book

Wow! If you are looking for action and suspense to go along with your romance, this is the book to read. T-Rex and Sierra have great chemistry. Ok, they also have instalove. That was surprising seeing as how Sierra was recently divorced from her abusive ex, and T-Rex was feeling some guilt about his last deployment. I loved how Sierra was strong, tough, and independent. Yet, she had no reluctance in allowing Rex to look out for her. I was holding my breath through the action sequences. I would definitely recommend this book. I voluntarily read and reviewed this Advanced Reader Copy.
