Lori Keyes is gearing up for her second busy summer running a bed and breakfast in the resort town of Dusky Cove when she gets great news: her son is finally bringing his girlfriend to meet her. Lori knows this is big, so she wants everything at her bed and breakfast—and the rest of the town—to be perfect for Annie.
Although she knows her son is dating a local girl, Lori can’t plan for what happens when they run into someone from Annie’s past—or when he alludes to a dark secret. But her plans don’t really go awry until Annie’s old friend winds up the victim of a hit-and-run.
Everyone thinks Annie looks guilty, leaving her in dire straits. She pleads with Lori to prove her innocence. Lori will have to dig into the long-buried past and uncover those secrets to figure out who killed Annie’s friend before the killer turns on Annie next.

Her mom got her hooked on cozy mysteries from a young age. Lillian Jackson Braun’s classic Cat Who… series are some of her favorites.
Di has been writing since she was a teenager. She makes her home with her husband and children in the Rocky Mountains now, so writing about Dusky Cove is one of her favorite ways to connect with a little taste of home.
